God, our secondrowers stick out like a sore thumb. My eyes are automatically directed to our biggest hole/weakness. I wonder if they'll crack over 70m combined this week? We have let Tafua go. He would be better in the second row than Winterstein/Lane.

It would be absolutely ludicrous to let Taufua go !! I simply can't buy salary cap restraints with the position we are in. He makes a huge difference to the side with his carries and is a proven, quality finisher, and still mid 20s. I can't cop letting him go with no better option on the books, so hopefully this is all rubbish

At least when we let Gutherson go, we still had Matai, Lyon and Tom coming through so the logic was there with that one, and allowed us to get Walker as well to sweeten it

I thought he re-signed?
We were supposedly offering him a new contract (or making him a new contract). So, if the club changes their opinion so quickly it must mean we've got someone on their way, surely?! May just be some more speculation though, we'll see what comes of it

I agree feathered friend . This is the game were every player will have to contribute and not just make up the numbers .
Every player much show their worth to the team .
We cant have forwards making 30 metres and arm grabbing their way defensively and we can have backs missing tackles and dropping balls as this is a recipe for another flogging .

We all started slitting our wrists when Buhrer was let go and we ended up picking up one of our best players in the current squad. I'll wait and see how this plays out before I make a judgment.

If Walker is in a moonboot then surely he's out this week. Who goes to center??? Please not Wright too slow.

Even if we get flogged again, I still don't think its over.

Still 8 points up for grabs after that and all against bottom 8 teams.
Exactly mate . So we lose by say 20 and we are gone , i don't think so we will still have 4 games to go and anything can happen.

Can't say I understand Parker on the bench. U?

Would prefer a more hardened forward against the big Roosters pack. Tanginoa be given a crack or something.

I understand Parker is keen but he looked a bit like a chook with his head cut off when he played in this role last time. Not convinced he's a good bench option but I'm not a FG coach either.
Mate i haven't had a look at the side yet but to have a winger and basically thats what he is on the bench doesn't make sense at all . Forwards would seem the go against a pretty fair pack.

My only guess would be that they know that Wright and Walker are a bit fragile at the moment and they don't want Brown as centre cover
