Agreed. Still has a lot to improve on, but cannot fault his application to selfless-get-it-done footy in a demanding position. The comp proper will challenge him and likely expose issues, but I respect the job he has done with what he has at this point of time.Honestly thought that Johns ticked all the right boxes. Definitely didn’t over play his hand and fed his outside guys. Weekes to 14..
Round 3 I thinkYeah thats really disappointing about Schuster. He has obviously worked so hard to get his body conditioned to play 5/8.
Although he is only out a week at this stage, this feels like a little more of a punch in the guts given his injury history. Hopefully not a sign to come for the rest of his season/career.
This is what concerns me. This is not an “unlucky” one off injury. He has had calf injuries before. This is a body mechanics issue and we need to be smarter in identifying and working with this issue. Doing the same rehab program as he’s done before is not gonna change things.Ohh FFS. Is this going to be another long running saga. He's had calve trouble previously. Can we just get an even break this year with damn injuries.
Yes and prob pick funa to replace him!At least the coaching staff is being open and transparent.
If Des were coaching, we would have no idea who was injured.
Isn't this the exact same thing that kept him out at the start of last season?Yeah thats really disappointing about Schuster. He has obviously worked so hard to get his body conditioned to play 5/8.

If Des was coaching he would still realise the shoe is underdone and injury prone (as proven so far) and would have tried to keep foz. But then again the old dinosaur never played youth did he??? Well apart from Hamole and the shoe and koula and Saab and keppie and paseka and.... well you get my drift. At least the coaching staff is being open and transparent.

Yes, ankle (syndesmosis) last year & in 2020. Now two calf injuries as well.I think it was ankle
Ankle, knee, hip, shoulders.. they’re all connected as one unit despite what overly clever modern sports science might wanna tell us.I think it was ankle
Yep....so out a weekRound 3 I think
Yes and prob pick funa to replace him!
Thanks for that, almost choked on my Coco Pops. The “next big thing” according to that wise old man Robert Simeon
