Pre-Game discussion: Manly v Souths [Finals week 2, 2019]

All the talk is about Cook , Burgess , Reynolds , Walker etc

The guy that gets them rolling is Cam Murray. He has the best play the ball in the game and so much of their good stuff comes off the back of him landing on his front and getting a super quick ruck.
Stop him and we go along way towards winning.
Maybe that’s a job for Mad Jack. Bash Murray all night.

Totally agree, if Cam Murray is ineffective their momentum goes down rapidly. Another issue that I noticed against sharks was the chip and chase. Jorge and Suli struggle with speed off the mark to turn and chase, will not be surprised that they use those tactics if they struggle for attacking creativity. I am sure Des will have a game plan to not be caught out.

@ellakasmar - I believe the nrl knocked back our request to play Trex, as they believed we had enough other players to cover the position. So no more smoke and mirrors with Trex

I absolutely loved seeing this at halftime, matched by the pregame shed huddle and each and every time they g'd each other up on the field.
They are playing for each other, revving each other up, something that had been missing last few years.

You can have all the talent in the world, the latest and brightest coach, but if you are not going to play for each other, and take the attitude on the field, well you end up like Bronco's.
