Hard to say, probably a bit of both - I'm torn myself.
Hopefully he will give his all for the rest of the season, still an opportunity to have his first and last seasons as a Mighty Sea Eagle as a premiership winner and this time as captain, if so he will be cheered.
However if he drops his full effort for us and plays poorly (I doubt he will), he will get booed and rightly so.

We all saw his form on the weekend when he orchestrated the Manly win like Elite halves do
He had already known his fate from the Manly Decision makers prior to that game
Nothing will change the Elite players Professionalism
DCE is an Elite Class on and off the field and would be an asset to any club that is prepared to accept his Value

DCE will always chase the money and loves the spotlight. Never seen a player go about it like this Reynolds could have done this too with south’s but he didn’t. This has totally turned me off going to the game this week vs Eels I wouldn’t be able to control myself when he got the ball he deserves to be heckled by the crowd. to me that sounds like your'e old its a risk , we dont want to give you an offer so you can go shop it, see what offers are available, and we will counter offer and make sure we are looking after you. thats the way I see it. But we aren't a club in a position to do this because if someone like the dogs, roosters or Brisbane are keen , we will never be able to match their 3rd party deals

On the surface, it seemed to me that Manly had made an absolute mess of this situation.

Just watched the 100% interview and I'm not so sure now it was a complete stuff up by the club.

Lots of fumbling from DCE including contradictions of his own words from only moments before and of course the obvious stuttering when attempting to make his point. He also seemed very nervous and he never shows nerves in interviews.

I don't believe there is much point going into who said what. Body language to me is a very large indicator of the situation. So yeah, I have strong doubts now about the story DCE is attempting to put forward.

Plenty of media over the last week were indicating that they couldn't see him leaving a club where he could complete his NRL career with one of the greatest legacies. Clubs have also come out today saying they haven't bothered as the believed the same thing. They were all wrong it seems!

Never thought I would say this but maybe Choc was right?
