Just saw the ethereal Jennifer Hawkins in the Qantas club, my god she is incredible. Did we lose a game of football or something? I can't remember

Business Class AND Jen Hawkins.............. I hate you........bastard!!!!

I sold some seats near on half way two weeks ago to some Bulldogs fans, if they are good seats easy to sell!!

I had a chat with a few of the boys at crown last night, they were filthy about their performance but I thanked them for a great season.
I also didn't get beaten up but I did tear Crown casino a new one!

1. It wasn't the GF and the Dogs or Souths that beat us.
2. Our season lasted 2 weeks longer than most other teams.
3. I don't think they'll play that badly again.
4. It's only been 12 months since or last premiership.
5. Fa'oso will be playing for us next year.
6. I didn't run out of Bourbon.

We are all alive and breathing today and the world is not going to emd

I don't know about that. 2012 hasn't ended yet. I saw the movie the other night (again) and I'm very - very scared.
Hold on, this is not positive :^(

Ok, Positive: Melbourne get found out before next weekend that they cheated and so give us another shot at the GF ;^)

A few dogs players just celebrated a bit too much - like we did in '07

My thoughts exactly..

Storm will win, they need this more.

The team will be shown that game most of the off season and will belt the first team we play against round 1 2013.
Due to the embarrassment

I know that whoever was doing the tackling for TREX will be breathing a sigh of relief. Especially if the replacements can make over 20 tackles in 80 minutes.

Got to love a happy thread.

BTW, What are stats on 'defending premiers'?

I recall a few not even making the 8.

Apart from the Scum, it's easily the best a defending premier has gone since Penrith in 04.

Dogs missed the 8 in 05, Tigers missed in 06.

Fear not fellow sea eagle tragics. There is a significant silver lining hidden behind that cloud of despair

I expected with all that Manly was going through that the Sea Eagles would finish 8th. They finished 4th. Why did I think such sacrilege?

1) Defection of Hasler and half the coaching/training/recruiting team
2) Lengthy injuries and suspensions
3) Ongoing contractual concerns and threat of a dismantling of the Manly team. Players were not exactly feeling confidence.
4) Loss of 8 players in past year (Oldfield, Whare, Harrison, Drinkwater, Lussick brothers, Hopoate brothers).
5) a first time first grade coach with little time to prepare his team.
6) A board room that needs a good kick up the derriere.

Remarkably Manly were competitive and did us proud.

With a good recruitment drive, Toovey with year under his belt now has the chance of revitalisation. Gutherson, Trbjevic, Chee-Cam all look like top class first graders in the making and need to be given their chance in '13.

Manly will start to be the predators again next year. This year we were fodder for the top sides (and a few bottom sides). No more Mr Nice Raptor. We'll dine out next year.
