Positives and Negatives of roosters trial

I'm sure these two matches we just played were trials right? It's as if we've banked 4 points already. Never seen so much excitement over two trial wins. I guess that's what happens after a couple of lean seasons.

Agree with your statement but from I saw live on Saturday there was something different about this group, they seemed to want to play more for each other.

I agree I am not getting ahead of myself, we were poor in defence at stages on both wings at times, a good side would have put a few more tries on us on Saturday.

We will know more really where we stand after around round 5 I think.

Not sure where to post this or if it already has been posted but Tom Wright broke his jaw in the u20's game which is why he didnt play half a game in cup and why Schuster played a full game in cup and not half a game in first grade. He will be out for a couple of months you would think.
Poor kid. That's a shocking run of luck he's had.

even more after round 10

Regardless of being a trial or not... one positive I saw was the players really celebrated together.

When Sirrrrrro (sorry Frank not sure on the number of r's required) scored you can see the unity between the boys. Same with Walkers. It meant a lot to them and that's half the struggle.
I watched the charity shield yesterday and it was clear that there was no passion from the dragons. Just going through the motions.

That was missing for me last year and the year before. The pride. The passion. Almost like our boys were a team of individuals. I suppose the transition from old boys to new boys also would have no doubt reared its head.

This year, from what I have noticed, there is a genuine togetherness about the celebrations like they are close. Like they are a unit. Perhaps Baz has been able to bring this team together and they are beginning to play for each other.

Exciting times and I'm liking what I'm seeing thus far.

It started in the later part of last year and is growing

Don't know where you got your info from mate but it's wrong . No broken jaw just a couple of loose teeth and a bit of concussion.
