The Daily Telegraph is reporting we are expected to talk to Peter O'Sullivan in the coming days about becoming our recruitment manager.

Have mixed feelings about him being at Manly.
Has a checked past and the last thing we need is having someone with his history at our club. The media will have a field day if it happened.
But then again he is one of the best talent scouts out there, something we badly need.
 
He is permanently banned isn’t he? Probably just a case of us needing a recruitment officer and the goons deliberately linking us with the most controversial person they could think of who could potentially fill that role.
In any event, the Board knocked back making a play for Carney so I would be really surprised if O’Sullivan with his alleged history was hired.

Roosters recruitment manager Peter O'Sullivan has copped an indefinite ban after the NRL deemed he wasn't a fit and proper person for registration.

The sanction against O'Sullivan, one of the best talent spotters in the game, relates at least in part to his association with notorious punter and brothel owner Eddie Hayson.

He was banned.
But according to the Tele he may get let back in.
I don't see him being allowed but is their politics going on in the background.
Has Todd said to the club, drop the appeal and we will allow Peter O'Sullivan back into the game if you want to sign him.

Todd saves face with the fine as he knows we have a chance of winning the appeal or we have emails on his time at the dogs when De$ left that could haunt him.

Manly get one of the best talent scouts to help with the rebuild by helping Todd out.

At the time, the NRL integrity unit had been probing whether O’Sullivan was a “fit and proper” person to be in rugby league.

The NRL though will now strongly consider allowing O’Sullivan — known as one of rugby league’s finest talent spotters — back into the game.

The governing body hasn’t formally announced O’Sullivan’s return because no club had officially offered the former Storm recruitment manager a full-time position.
 
We might get Foz back due to Eddie H connection but then again didn’t Sullivan and Fozs mum have something going in the past.

Can’t seem him getting an interview if he is permanently banned, we make some strange decisions at times but surely we couldn’t be that stupid
 
I don't get why we need a recruitment manager when I thought Brett Fulton was...or did Bozo take his son with him when he left?

Just give me the job and I'll spend a month in Fiji. It'll be like the pidepiper coming into mascot airport with a plane full of big hearted men with talent and passion.

Crusher was fired from the Dogs for his dud recruiting.

Word is that Kelly Egan was the brains behind the roster makeup under Des and look what he put together at the Tigers since 2016 :nod:
