Perrett

Was thinking...it is unlikely that another team is going to pick up Perrett, based on the fact he was what, our seventh-string front rower this season, and his well-publicised health issues which hinder his preparation and training.

Based on what little we saw during his short bursts at the end of the season, he can still bring something to a game if he’s fit. Presuming nobody else wants him, and he still has the desire to play, he’d only be worth about what, $120K?

Is he worth another season at bargain prices?

And yes, he’ll probably go to the UK I guess...

Nope not worth a cent

Done well end of season when given a shot...and what’s that say??
It’s all about attitude, could well be a player in demand, but not keen as he should be.
Keppie, Okalatautu and more have the want and ability to take Manly to s successful future...

Shame because he does draw in defenders and has quick play the ball. Just never seemed to kick on for whatever reason. Perhaps we need to use his money for positions we need depth in

I'd be surprised if Lloyd doesn't find a new home. More skills then many out there, on his day he is a game winner. Change of scenery will do him good too, he was clearly frustrated with the club for not getting a go in the top grade earlier he has publically said there is more to that story too.

Just pleased that Lloyd has been able to recover and overcome that very serious health scare at the start of last year or so and then being able to resume his footy playing . Seemed fairly clear for the majority of this season that he would not be retained at Manly [ was on quite reasonable money too apparently ] but obviously still put in a good effort towards the latter stages . Still should have something to offer elsewhere especially with his off loading ability and maybe also with the less demanding tempo , he would go well in the English S. L .

If he has a chip on his shoulder that's one more reason to show him the door.

Former Manly prop Lloyd Perrett is trialling with the Broncos for a contract for next season.

After spending much of this year in NSW Cup, the 24-year-old Perrett played for the Sea Eagles in the final series.

And the tough prop showed enough in the big end-of-season games to be thrown a lifeline by the Broncos, who are short on experience up front.

He was released from the Bulldogs by Des with 2 years still left to run on his contract. That was after being named as junior Kangaroo, and U20's SOO. Not sure Des is a fan

Not sure, lol. Yes I too suspect not. He has ability, he has size, and potential, but a Keppie who rips in and fronts up is always going to get picked before a bloke like Lloyd. Good luck to Lloyd, surely he'd be a star if he went to England, especially given his over-heating issues. Or maybe that Toronto outfit, whatever they are called. It looks pretty cold up there, judging from GE's snapshots. :)
