Eels beat Penrith 26-16 at Parramatta Stadium.

The panthers were ordinary. They looked disorganised and there defence wasn't hard hitting. I predict that Penrith will be lucky to make the 8.

I agree entirely, Penrith look very average. If they keep this form up, they won't make the eight. But I believe they will find form eventually and make the Top 6.

The interesting thing this year is that most of the top 8 sides from 2004 look weaker in both top team and depth. Dogs, Rorters, Panthers, Dragons are nowhere near what they were. Cowboys and Broncos may be better but team like Manly have a huge chance if we can maintain our defence!

i know its early but theyve shown crap all in 4 rounds and are only lucky to have 2 pints due to the dragons being even worse some how.

Their forwards just aren't doing anything. On their performance this year they are really struggling. Wesser was good but you can't say the eels were outstanding.

I was distraught to learn that Luke Ruinme dropped out blowing my fantasy league chances. I think that that comp is slanting the whole way I watch the game!
