[Resurrected] Paseka

Let me start by saying I love watching this guy play and when he’s on, he’s a damaging front rower with enormous influence on the game.

But he still seems to be in and out of games. The odd week he’ll have a stormer and run for 200+ metres, then he’ll go missing the week after. Or he’ll have one good stint on the field and a lacklustre second stint.

It was reported that he copped a spray from Dessie at halftime in the Penrith game and came out firing in the second half. Then Tom had a go at him against Parra.

Can Des turn him into a consistent first grader or will he be a whole lot of lost potential?

Seems nothing has changed?

Thought he was okay tonight, made that error and a few missed tackles, though he was the only forward to make yardage, doubled every other forward with meters made other than Bully who was 50 meters off him.

And here is the problem, plays well for one match in a row, then back to being a giant plodder.
Mate, how about you consolidate your thoughts in a single post instead of bringing up literally every single different thread to enhance your negative, uninformative viewpoints? It's honestly verging on spam across all these threads.

Paseka is a good prop, probably our best but our pack lacks an on-field leader. I said before the game tonight if we were going to be beaten, it was through the middle and here we are.

Someone in the Matthew Lodge, Nathan Brown mould but not 100 years old. We seriously lack aggression to the point that sometimes it looks like Jake is the angriest, at least in defense. We don't have the ability to 'turn the tide' in defense, Haumole can smash anyone but he's out on an edge.

Mate, it's spam that there are so many threads about the same person or subject.
It seems everyone on this site is too lazy to do the search function or don't understand it even exists.

Everyone know and then I like to make this stupidity obvious.

To be fair there is no set format by the mods regarding commentary for specific players. Sometimes it's considered inappropriate to bump an old thread on a forum, there's a term for it - gravedigging.

I think most people can look at the first page of the forum and in my opinion if there's no immediate discussion, it's fine to create a new one. It encourages activity and traffic for the website, as the 'forum' format is quite antiquated itself plus threads can be merged if required.

tl;dr: have your say however you want (within the forum rules) otherwise this website will slowly fade away, also the arbitrary moralising can be off putting at times.

Without Tent the team would struggle for field position, only two forwards challenged the aggressive Warriors with the ball.

Tent 12 runs 143 meters 58 post contact
Bully 11 runs 96 meters 37 post contact
Ben T 9 runs 81 metres 31 post contact
Haumole 8 runs 75 meters 36 post contact
Aloiai 8 runs 66 metres 21 post contact
Sipley 6 runs 58 meters 25 post contact
Jake 7 runs 47 meters 12 post contact

Put that with the defensive efforts
Tent 36 tackles 4 missed
Haumole 35 tackles 7 missed
Jake 47 tackles 3 missed
Ben T 31 tackles 0 missed
Bully 31 tackles 2 missed
Sipley 24. tackles 2 missed
Aloiai 19 tackles 1 missed

Unfortunately the drop ball from Tent put the team under pressure, though saying he had a poor game doesn’t say much for the rest of the pack.
