Paseka needs 2025 to be his Breaker

11 runs for 120 metres, 48 of those post contact.

Each to their own but I though he looked a class above.
He does know how to find an injury.

I wondered why he was playing, and it looked like he was wondering why he was out there as well. Hope it's nothing serious, but I wish he'd run harder into contact. He was manhandled in the tackle he was hurt, by two guys who had no business manhandling a player of his size.
I share your frustration, but he was the dominant forward on the field before (inevitably) being injured. And yeah - he should not have been playing.

Yep, it beats me too why Tent was playing. With his history, he should've been on the sidelines with the others in cottonwool. Maybe Aloiai will have to step up - though dare we risk him.

Each to their own expectations for sure feathered friend
120 metres from 11 runs was against a Cup team
This thread is about expecting a Bigger Impact from the Big Boy

Thought he was running at 70% before the injury. Didn't seem to put in after contact like he normally does, but that was entirely acceptable as it was only a trial. Probably a move to try and prevent injury... Unsuccessfully.

We love Paseka .
We love his big intimidating frame
We also Love for him to be our Next Premiership Winning Big Spud
The thing about Spud was that He was not only Big but was also Big on Intensity and Passion

There must have been a reason why he played yesterday - at the end of the day it's good to get some reps in before the season starts.

But I appreciate that the decision will always be questioned when an injury occurs.

MANLY BIG BOPPER CLEARED OF SERIOUS INJURY

Star forward Taniela Paseka will be rested for Manly’s final trial on Friday night against Penrith but will be available to take on North Queensland in the Sea Eagles’ season opener on March 8.

Paseka sent a scare through the Manly camp after he was left clutching his shoulder early in the second half in Saturday’s trial win against South Sydney with fears he was facing a stint on the sidelines.

It’s understood the prop has avoided serious injury but was left with some bruising to his AC joint, which won’t keep him sidelined but could require some pain management.

Sounds like the same cover story they wheeled out when Turbo did his AC joint last year. Don't forget Turbo hasn't had an operation to fix it either. It could go again at any moment too.
