The Cronulla player gets charged for his merry go round tackle, but only one week.

Paseka is our for 6 weeks, so the season.

Seems fair to me - not

Hynes gets fined for pleading guilty to tripping Koula.

Interesting that ref and bunker looked at both incidents - nothing to see play on??

Hey Paseka, hobble off quicker - you are wasting time.

Cronulla are set for more disruption on their leaky left edge after rookie back-rower Jesse Colquhoun received a one-match ban for dangerous contact.

In the opening minutes of the Sharks' 30-26 loss to Manly on Sunday, Colquhoun was penalised for entering a tackle late and twisting the leg of Sea Eagles prop Taniela Paseka.

See guys, the all knowing MRC looked at it and said yep, this guy gets ONE week.

So while we lose Tent for 6 to 8, we should all feel happy that the all knowing MRC suspended cul-cock-hoon for one whole match.

So we should all be quiet now because justice has been administered by the all knowing MRC.

I wonder how many weeks suspension a Manly player would get if it was Nicho who coped a Chicken Wing tackle...... mmm.. like 5wks I'd say.

A guy rang up Talkin Sport yesterday and raised this exact question. The 'esteemed' panel of Graeme Hughes, Brett Papworth and that fool Gav Robertson replied:
1. Manly didn't raise it so it couldn't have been too bad;
2. Suggest you (caller) contact Manly to air your grievance;
3. You see these tackles every set of 6 (although at least they did say it is becoming a blight on the game).

The length of the suspension for foul play that lead directly to the injury should be the period the injured player is out. 1 week is lubricious and an insult to anybody's intelligence. They harp on about the duty of care what happened to the duty of care here?

Of course the tackle was crap and deserved a much harsher spotlight on it.
What a bunch of manly-hating wankers these blokes are. Haven't listened to them for years. Can't believe they are still on the air. SEN and BSB much better

wankers.
1. Manly didn't raise it so it couldn't have been too bad; That's not how refs/bunker/ and the MRC are supposed to work.

2. Suggest you (caller) contact Manly to air your grievance; Maybe the caller already had, but you generally raise a grievance with the body you have said grievance with. Plus it is talk back radio...isn't the whole point of having people ring your crappy show?

3. You see these tackles every set of 6 (although at least they did say it is becoming a blight on the game). Rubbish, because we'd have 100 times more inquiries by now and if it is said 'blight' on the game, the nrl and mrc should have acted on it.

What a collection of boofheads.

Would of liked Seib's to have shown a bit of ticker on this and bring the incident up in his presser, but sadly he didn't. Seib's doesn't seem to show much emotion or passion in the coaches box or at pressers when the fans really need and want it. A fire and brimstone response from Seib's is what was required, but all's we got was the usual ho hum and a run down on the players that got injured...mmm.

He's a nobody and plays for Manly. He's not one of the darling's or protected species of the NRL so the media and every one else just moves on nothing to see here...🙈

They are saying Hynes didn't swear, but I'm a pretty good lip reader, and it looked like he said, "three times, ****", to me..

Pretty sure Colquhoun did at least 2 more of them during the game.
