We are still right in this. We have been reffd out of the match so far.
We looked good with the limited ball we had early but looked fatigued later in the half with all their position. If the game is a grind we will win this. We just need a couple 6 agains to fall our way.

The positive is that’s it all grist for Des’s mill. The Eels are as good as they can be. We will get a lot better during the year. But if going to win the comp we desperately need a clever half. Someone who can control the game Blake Green fashion.

Boys relax , I can see us scoring 2 or 3 tries next half , hopefully Garrick has his radar on. Parra has had all the ball.. hopefully possession swings. Halves cant do much if our forwards are tired..

I want to win but end of the day , Parra are a good test for us , as we are for them

Dumb **** and a halfback who has plenty of ability refusing to play to his strengths and lead the team. Getting tackled in the fifth ten metres out on the attack is just ludicrous. He really needs to grab this game by the scruff of the neck.

ive had it with tafua. He doesn’t even run hard by more and takes a week to play the ball. Turbo has been pretty ordinary too.

we can win this, but just too many boneheaded plays and options been taken. It’s hard to watch.

We just need to hold onto the ball and hope for the best. But if Cummins keeps pulling mystery set restarts for the Eels out of his ass, we'll really be up against it. Would have been happy enough at 8-2, but that try on the bell is unforgivable.

parra I don’t think would have held on with our attack if we had all the ball at the beginnin.

parra yes they look like the real deal but they really as yet have been tested by that a mean a team getting the greater share of calls against them.

think it will now end up 22-6 or something along those lines tonight.

Well that was exactly how I thought it would pan out.

Parra just had way too much ball in that first 10.

they are being gifted this game.. we are going ok but think this could get ugly in the second half if we are not careful.

The ref is bad sure but we are giving them all the ball with nothing end of sets. Dce getting tackled on the last is just pathetic. Siro kicks it dead.. turbo kicks it dead then eels try.. turbo loses ball.. eels softest try iv seen 12 - 2 and pretty much game over unless dce does something

Thought the same thing, dowdz. Nothing to lose with a challenge there. Probably could have even challenged the knock-on call that gave them the scrum. And then to give up a soft try right on the bell - terrible.
What ****s me is the set restarts the ref gives the Eels - no idea why - and we can't buy one even when their hands are all over the ball trying (successfully, too) to slow us down.
Even with that crap going against us, we had some chances to get some momentum going back our way and blew them all. Disappointing.

Agreed. My son and I have no idea why the slime are getting all the restarts and none for us. I am no fan of it as it seems to just help one team and not the other. Either that or its just that the ref can't have us winning

may not feel good tonight but I can see us using tonight as a litmus guide for future games.

When we play them again I can see us coming with a different game plan.

anyway not out of it but we will have to do something special to win.
