Parra chase Johnathan Thurston

They seem to be buying backs.  Their forwards are nothing to write home about.  All old and expensive.

Maybe they are expecting Manly to take a few more of their up and coming juniors that we turn into stars.

Looks like Thurston, Mason and co. can hit the Sydney night clubs once again, or take a 6hr drive north of Sydney and reminisce of the good old days.

coff coff 😀

It has to be for 2011 or something, i read that if Tahu signs (which he will) then that takes up the remaining cap space for next year.

It's admirable how they're turning around so quickly after Fiztgerald left i'll admit.

Like Tony Williams?

Good to see the Eels continue to sign on reputation rather than character.  You'd have thought they'd have learned a bit about wayward halfbacks in their environment after Tim Smith.

They won't win a Premiership for another 23 years at this rate.

Poore and Shackleton have signed, they are building nicely, just need to lose some dead wood.( Cayless for example)

Hopefully Dessie will do some off season work with big T-Rex and he will be better off for it next season cause at the moment he seems a little gun shy.

I hear your frustration Fro, he is rather awkward to watch. I'm sure the coaching team know what they are doing and I have all the confidence in Des and his team for their persistence. It will come good unless they are thinking of moving him to the forwards for next year.

edited by Dan - Come on guys you know you can get yourselves in trouble with stuff like that

The Squeels are building well. They have a strong team for 2010 but no experienced halves. Thurstone will compliment Mortimer well. I don't think they have enough in their salary cap to afford him anyway.

I certainly hope you are right One eye, because at the moment he is far from impressive.

While your slamming of Watmough and calling for his axing was fcuken stupid, you're on the money with T-Rex. He's a massive cat.
