Might be a good opportunity to see Simpkin for 80min and Tevaga as lock/prop where he belongs. If Bullemor and Aloiai both play, and play well, then the pack might still resemble a first grade side

08 Aloiai
09 Simpkin
10 Taukeiaho
11 Ola'akautu
12 Trbojevic
13 Tevaga / Brown
14 Brown / Tevaga
15 Waddell
16 Bullemor
17 Navale

A win is virtually impossible, but we just need to see some character and pride in the jersey. I couldn't care less if we don't score a point. But if another 40-50 points get past our line then we all know where 2025 goes
Didn "t watch the match but after noticing the outcome in the Strom - Dolphins game , and the dramatic turnaround in the Dolphins favor , would think anything is possible in terms of a side "s ability to turn things around if a side is up to it
And even with a couple out , Manly should still have the personal to fit into this category and if they are up for it

Like Mestrov milking a cow or Penn shearing a sheep the relevance of an image or inspirational quote to a footy forum doesn't matter. Words and more of the same words repeated over and over ad infinitum is what matters because what is a a fan forum without meaningless words. It is like a cow without milk or a sheep without wool? When we get that milk we all live in hope that the milk will be fresh and not past the expiry date and that the milk will live up to the legendary standards of past milk and if the milk is not fresh we will sack the dairy farmer and not the shop keeper who let the milk go bad. However, when the milk is fresh we will all celebrate the dairy farmer with a cold glass of milk at the end of long day and that is the message of the day my feathered friend.

Ewe rule, @Wombat64 !!

As long as the side can regroup and rally sufficiently and Aloiai and Bully are ideally match fit , might be within range of being quite competitive against the Panthers and some chance .
Again with the prospect T K O and Aloiai starting props and Bully , Jake and Brown to complement the rotation .
But looks like Jass is on stand by as a prop option so maybe not looking that good with all of the other options being available .
Sure that Navale will really make an effort but would think at least also two of Bully , Aloiai or Brown being available as well to consolidate the pack better .
Surely the backs can offer something worthwhile with or without Turbo and again be a bit more fluent in attack or the attacking plays a bit better co ordinated all round .
Tend to think or must be a bit obvious now that D C E is being affected with some injury niggle , no excuse for some wayward play the other night but the whole attacking structure was totally off in the i st half .
Not sure if they can definitely turn thigs around sufficiently this week to give themselves a chance and very disappointing form wise recently of course but that type of a year again for most sides with consistency and fluctuating form and no time like the present for Manly to bounce back again
If DCE is not injured and he's just playing below par, surely ego alone would lift him against Cleary.

We'll see.

This may not go down well but I actually think Jazz at 13 may be an upgrade to Jake. And also that one Panthers win does not make a season. They have been bog average this year and a win over a pretty ordinary Easts side doesn't mean their season has automatically turned around. I don’t think we will win with all our outs but if Turbo is back and our pack can somewhat resemble that list, we might be a show. But agree with the point in that they just need to turn up and have a dig. I can accept a loss if they at least have a crack. And we’ve also had a good break so should be fresh.

I agree that Jake’s best spot is no longer 13. He should be in the front row rotation. Jazz has a decent passing game (as evidenced by his reasonable ability at dummy half) and so should be able to work in at 13. I do think Jakey will be missed though this week in defence.

The two games Penrith have won this year, Mitch Kenny has been their starting hooker and has finished the game.

Their 5 losses, he only played half a game back in Round 2, missed the rest...

Manly at $3.06 to win is juicy, especially with Turbo back
