Fullback Daine Laurie, back-up hookers Luke Sommerton and Soni Luke, fringe first graders Harry Hassett, halfback Brad Schneider (Dolphins), Mavrik Geyer (Tigers), Zac Lipowicz (Catalans), centre Asu Kepaoa (Knights) and lower graders
John Sagaga, Zack Lamont, Austin Dias, Riley Price and Preston Riki

Would we be interested in any of the above that are unsigned for next year?

Maybe Soni or Sommerton now that GCKT is leaving. Hassett has been mentioned a few times. Ex schoolboys captain I think but don't if he is any better than others in our squad.

Who was it that was using Austin Dias being given a run in first grade in the game when the Panthers rested 16 players against the Dogs as an example of a coach willing to blood young players (despite him never being given a run by the next club he went to after Manly let him go), because it apparently showed Seibold up?

Now the coach who gave him a run in first grade is letting him go 😂

Austin Dias starts in the front row for the Panthers this week. Obviously they saw something in him that Manly didnt, even if he is on the fringes.

Yes @Brookie1973 He was in the supplementary list 23/24/25, until he moved mid-season to the Panthers. He played a few NRL games with the Tigers in 22 as well. Who knows we might even see him back next season ......

Admittedly I've only seen him half a dozen odd times and he looked likely.

Not saying he is a sure thing but I think a good option with upside.

Agile type backrower who can hit a great unders line and can also played centres.
Was in Australian schoolboys team a few years ago and has struggled getting game time in a red hot side who have won 100 straight grand finals.
Personally rate him as decent and far better than the standards Manly have signed in recent seasons and could bloom with game time, which at Manly is a far higher chance than at the Premiers, though they are also culling atm for 2026 and 2027.

The guy is 30, not a good signing at all.
He won’t get an NRL contract and will need to go to super league.

So what? Panthers obviously saw something in him to give him a go in the first place. It doesn't mean he can't play. For him to get a reserve grade gig with a consecutive winning premiership team isn't something to be sneezed at. The Panthers replace these players with young and better players , but Manly seem to overlook them for age old pensioners when they themselves don't have the same luxury of a thriving juniors system. Seems you can't see the forest through the trees.

I find it funny that people think we lost out on Dias because the Panthers NSW Cup signed him and then released him after one season 😂

No offense to the bloke but he’s played 8 seasons of NSW Cup at 4 different clubs. It’s the definition of not cracking it.
