Des is back, so from here onwards, the refs need to be referred to as the Voldemort’s on Silvertails
I think Hasler being back will have the biggest influence. He scares the refs. They knew they could penalise us at will - what would Trent do about it apart from cry at the presser?
If we play below our best and lose and blame the refs for the loss, yes fair enough, then that is an excuse, and we can only blame ourselves. ....But if we put in a match winning performance, dominating the opposition in the majority of all key aspects of the game, including discipline, and still lose due to poor refereeing errors/bias etc beyond our control - then we have every right to blame the refs for the loss in my opinion, and its not an excuse, infact quite the opposite -it would only be stating the truth, and bringing to light any adjudicating errors to help fix the game and hopefully set a precedent for any future games so these wrong calls become fewer and far between.
Ourselves. Blow a side off the park and even the refs can't save them!
The refs are just ****house atm. Checcin was coming good but quit. I do believe there was extra scrutiny on us last year. We seemed to cop it first set almost every game. One againts the tigers stands out that was proven bull. Hopefully the new ref boss sorts it out.
