Our best recruit from each NRL club

Ben Walker holds the dubious honour of being the first player to score points in golden point period when he kicked a penalty goal from near halfway on the hill side of Brookie vs Parramatta in the Northern Eagles era.

The year was 2003 which was our first full year back after the merger dissolved.

Bryant Robertson and Williamson were excellent cheap signings from Canberra. Rodney from Penrith. Donald and Wolfman from Eels. Bell from Melbourne. Farrar from Cowboys served us well as backup (he was the one who swapped with Bani).

Since 1970 there have been 410 players debut for Manly. These have been our feeder clubs

Made NRL debut at Manly - 221 players

What I did find rather surprising is that we've only ever recruited one established first grader from pre merge St George, and that was Snoz. Likewise only one from Balmain Tigers, Steve Knight
