Hi guys mu thoughts today we simply dont aim up at times. But our problem area us backrow siro and frank
Dont bend the line and these wholes around where they defend.
The Jamil situation will he ever be cleared i know he was not allowed to go to nz last week. Who on the open market as we need a class backrower, dce seems to make far too many tackles

If he wasn't allowed to go to NZ last week,it seems it maybe an issue out of the NRL's hands

Winterstein made some good runs I thought, maybe because I was too busy observing rather the side as a whole and the energy they lacked. However Lussick was good, brought energy back into the side for the time he was on the field, bloody love him

Except that the dumbarsed hothead of 2011 made an unwanted appearance. He was running out of the line looking for a big hit and usually did nothing but miss and leave a hole in the line. Then there was that slap that cost us 2 points. He's a senior player, he should know better. We all blew up after Klemmer did it to DCE a few weeks ago.....

Yes he brought energy when he came on, but it wasn't a good return all round IMO.

Tend to agree with you on that, although his attempts at least showed he was trying, hope he can lead by a better example in coming weeks

I agree with Harry re Winterstein. I also thought he was good with the ball today. He and AFB were the only forwards offering any go forward with their carries. Yes, there seems to be some major work needed on his defence.

I disagree with Harry re Lussick today though. Yes, there was a notable lift when he came on, but it lasted all of 5 minutes, and the rest of the game he basically ambled the ball up offering little penetration and also ran out of the defensive line and missed his target a couple of times.

Harry you are far too young to be blind drunk at the footy.

Lussick was poor, it was old Lussick not second half of 16 Lussick.

He ran out of the line trying to put the bit hit on missed a lot, bounced off a few more times. Most hit ups he got turtled as he jumped into the line rather than ran through it.

and then there were the stupid penalties.

Next week i would rather see Perrett based on that.

Lussick was rusty and needs to regain match fitness. Still a better option than having a 3 man bench. I wish they would **** Browns' head off and replace it with Hastings. Everytime Brown runs on he makes an error or gives away a penalty in the first few minutes.

Him and Taufua have been two of our best 'forwards' over the last 3-4 weeks.

Dude, he didn't even put a jersey grab on McCrone when 'defending' for the DeBellin try under the posts, just terrible. The guy isn't an 80 minute player. I'd love to see Hoppa but I guess that's with the NRL. As for the rest of the forwards I saw a lot of Jeb Bush's out there (low energy guys). Darcy I thought was rusty from his time off, but I think he was trying to lead and raise the aggression of the pack, sometimes he goes too far but that's always a tightrope to walk.

AFB was the standout of the forwards for me, busy, aggressive and busting his ar$e to be in everything. Don't know when he's off contract but we need to keep this guy.

Yep, completely agree. I acknowledge W's defence was ordinary and needs a lot of work. Just wanted to acknowledge his carries as he was doing a lot more than more recognised forwards like Jake and Myles.

Maybe Perrett deserves another crack. He's been travelling nicely in reserves the last couple of weeks. I like what i see.

We are about 3 to 4 high quality forwards away from a top 4 team. We need to sign a Jessie Bromwich or James Graham style tough as nails hardman workhorse prop that bends the line and 2 high quality back rowers like Alex Glenn and Boyd Cordner. Until then we will struggle. Our boys Sirro and Frank try hard but I don't think they are premiership winners even at their best.
