Lose the Eagle. Mixing cartoons with the Anzac message doesn’t feel very appropriate.

Some may see that as being disrespectful to the thousands that fought and died under that flag. But I also understand we now live in a more enlightened and respectful society where that doesn’t matter. And before there’s another pile on, that’s all I am going to say on that.

Just on the Anzac Day fixtures. Wonder why they canned Warriors Melb game?? That was a really good match up following Easts/Dragons. I think 2021 we played the Tigers on Anzac Day maybe? Was always hoping that we might have jagged the reg middle fixture vs Balmain. That would have been a good three games.

Agree. Warriors/knights, storm/bunnies are odd match ups and both could be blowouts.

Manly isn't playing on Anzac Day.
It's either a special day .. or ..it's not??
I think last year they had Anzac day on about 5 straight days.
Just heard Tallis tonite reminding us that Anzac day wasn't a big footy day when he was a player. It's not as though it's an age-old tradition, it's relatively new that the NRL cash in on it.
