I agree Bob. Apart from the pointsbet banner, it looks good. Thank goodness we got it rightSorry about the grainy photo, maybe someone can do better.
Even sorrier about the POINTSBET banner across the front.
I think if you were tossing x million a year into sponsorship , you’d want your logo there too.The sponsor's logo spoils the whole intent of the jersey.
If it was dubbed on the War Memorial it would be regarded as desecration.
It just shows how beholden the club is to a gambling outfit which profits from the pain of punters.
Im with you Bob,I kind feel an obligation to buy this.
I will give it some thought.

Whilst I agree with your sentiment , it’s a business after all.
Surely NRL is now a big enough "business" to be able to survive without such crass sponsorship. How much does Manly get from its main sponsor? Let's assume it is $1m. That wouldn't even cover the salary of our halfback. I'm aware that the club owner gets the sponsorship money, but wouldn't it be better if the NRL gave clubs another couple of million to compensate for the loss of sponsorship on jerseys and all teams could play in strips bearing simply club colours and logos?I think if you were tossing x million a year into sponsorship , you’d want your logo there too.

Yeah, with the benefit of hindsight, I’m putting a hundred bucks on the Turks…Even sorrier about the POINTSBET banner across the front.
Especially if you do not want to be the tigers
Imagine on the back of ours is the same as the Bulldogs front in 2021.
I don't see it as a big deal, there's only so many ANZAC images around..
I don’t know the current figure but prior to Covid, gambling companies threw in over $15 million to the NRL in sponsorship. That didn’t count the $$$ individual club’s received for sponsorship from gambling companiesSurely NRL is now a big enough "business" to be able to survive without such crass sponsorship.
