The Parra tactics remind me of Souths the year they were gifted their premiership from the NRL for the sake of the fairytale story. They stay down at the slightest sniff of a penalty and get it. Souths did it too. They milk a million penalties in the ruck and get it, especially Gutho who doesn’t even try to get to his feet. Souths did that too.

Neither team has/had to work the ball out from their own end very often.

On the flip side they are off side a lot and never pinged while being allowed to get up at a glacial pace from most tackles until the opponents are well behind. Favourable draw with most of the season played at their home ground.

I've been saying it for years.. the nrl picks who wins the comp or who they want in the GF.. parra are the next target. 8-1 penalty count last night against the nrls storm is UNHEARD OF! yet it happened. Any 50 50 calls always go their way and how many games have been in the paper all claiming other teams being robbed by crucial decisions all for parra yet none the go against them.. like you said with souths that year the other team would be penalised out of the game then the ref would give some even up penalties so ot looked fair. Like 3 in a row when attacking souffs line. **** like that. This code has been a joke since they rorted the game in 2013 gf.. roosters have a dynasty built on bull**** money and other teams star players. Parra are following the same model. Look at their starting 13... who is actually from that club? Maybe 2

Ps i also claimed last year Penrith would be another target team. The west is booming and the nrl needs to cash in on that hence parra and the easiest draw, playing all games at wankbest and the constant BS ref calls. 8 to 1 get the fuk outta here

I enjoy watching the Tits play. They show flair and speed in attack, and with their sloppy defence there is always plenty of action. They seem to be a bit like Manly, rarely getting the rub of the green. Against Canberra they were duded on many occasions, not that they should have won.
AJ Brimson and Fogarty are standouts.
The Tits just need to tighten their defence and they will be a threat next season.
