Of course it was. It's the Storm and they've been doing it all day/year/decade ref.

Jokes aside, Cummins was only reffing Storm. Parra got a free run. Sure their cleaner than the drizzle but not that clean. I could have found an easy 5 more Eels penalties.

On the one hand it was beautiful to watch. I hate the storm more than any other team and watching the spoonfed storm supporters cry was pure joy.

On the other hand the NRL are clearly giving the Eels a free run. Yuck.

Storm tactics getting pinged was good though. **** them.

I'm by no means a Storm fan but I have grudging admiration for them and their on-going success. Despite having a reserve-grade side last night they stayed competitive, and given an even share of penalties they would have gone close to winning.
I admire the way the Storm turn inexperienced players into top First Graders, and wish Manly had the same faith in blooding youth. I also admire their recruitment nous. To think that Pappy and Ado-Carr were cast-offs from Wests is testimony to this.

Yep, it is all going right for them at the moment. Surely they can't go much longer with so few injuries. Hopefully it bites them in the a*#e around finals time. The refs would have to really ramp it up then. I would like to see them against a full-strength top team as well.
