Other Games [Round 6, 2022]

Great result, Manly four in a row and now the squeels knocked off by the tigpies, I'm stoked and the best thing is the mother in law isn't just giving me the stink eye but she's not talking to me, best day of my life, almost makes me believe there's a god😂😂😂
And the Hawks knocked off the Cats to make it an exceptional weekend for me 😉

At least there is a rugby league god today
Go the tigepies!!

Great to see Hastings fulfil his long awaited potential. Brooks actually looked good at 6. I couldn’t stop watching the squeels fans in the background when that FG went over….priceless.
I feel like I’ve had two wins this weekend.

Hastings showed the difference a halfback makes to a team. Brooksy’s $1 million is double what he is worth. Went ok as second fiddle.

I was amazed at the refereeing.

The best part about yesterdays win by the Tigers was they did it without getting one single set restart (6 again) through the entire 80 minutes.

Not one.
Yep. The officiating was definitely one-sided.
You could tell early on that the Tugers were switched-on. I suppose it was because of the rivalry with a fellow western suburbs team. They really dug deep and played for one another. It showed to me that these guys are good footballers when they are committed, not the rabble they show in most other matches.
Equally, Madge is obviously a decent coach but he can only get his players fully motivated on occasions. I expect a let-down next match, when the Tugers will revert to their lower standards.

And why was David Nofoaluma not allowed to run it out of his in goal when Eels put a kick thru. He didn’t ground it, yet it was pulled up as a Tigers drop kick. The commentary mentioned it briefly, but of course no one’s allowed to question the ref, especially at Eels HQ.

The commentary wombat was atrocious. Not only does Ennis work for the slime but that dick Ginnane all game was urging the eels on and practically cheering everytime they scored or went close to, even questioning every decision that went against them. It was the worst bias from any commentator I've ever heard....and more so than Voss. Made me sick to the stomach 🤮

So many dodgy decisions over the weekend - Olakau'atu gets penalised for being slow in getting off the tackled player only minutes after Sipley is tackled & Sexton comes in & pushes him back onto his back as he's attempting to rise, the Warriors captain's challenge for interference in the ruck (unsuccessful) vs the Roosters challenge for the same thing (successful), etc.

No wonder people are so disillusioned with the way the game is reffed.
