I total despise the Whingers and the Drizzle but I have to say that was one heck of a game! The whingers are so dangerous from kicks and get tries and resets consistently. the Drizzle find a way to stay in games and a draw would be fitting tonight.

It shows that we have to improve a lot to match what we saw tonight!

Is that not the second week in a row that Parra have benefitted from some a$$y kick that hits the posts and bounces back? It's not bad enough they have the NRL kissing their dik and pushing the greater western sydney dream, but they also get the footy gods helping them out as well.

They deserved to win they played a very professional game of footy. I felt for Moses when he didn't get to make it a 7 point lead. His kicking game was on point and deserved to be filthy at lane. Lane who had 3 massive plays...
Threw the ball forward instead of to moses for field goal
Missed the tackle on Smith for pap try
Then charged down the ball whilst looking absolutely legless from fatigue.

If we can start to get some form then we can beat them. But if we get them while we're playing like the opening two rounds ... it won't be pretty.

Willy i stand corrected Croker is twice the player Mahoney is. Pffft parra only beat storm in Melbourne whilst we got turkey slapped 2 weeks in a row. How did they do it? Forwards getting sweet ball and clean service ney Mahoney is trash must be something else 🤷‍♂️

Mahoney had little to no involvement, sometimes that is what's best for the team. Croker is perfectly capable of doing the same. They are both good passers and good defenders.

I defend Croker beacause he is an easy target and gets more than his share of the blame for our poor performance as a team. When everyone else aims up and Croker lets us down I will be the first to be critical but I haven't seen it yet.

Seems like trying to get him to run more has actually been detrimental to his game.

His running game is obviously a work in progress, but right now its mostly being taken at the wrong time. He either runs and crowds DCE and Foz, or runs and makes a mini break, but no one knew he was going to run so he has no support.

I think for the time being they should just go back to Froggy mostly being a dummy half passer where he only runs if he knows he'll make a break.

The time to try out a dummy half running game isn't when you're 20 points down to the Panthers or Chooks.

But all he is doing is passing and tackling. I thought all good hookers run the ball at every opportunity.

Its his timing of his passes and his select passing. Very good at knowing when to go blind side or give a nice crisp pass out in front to his halves. His passing is a lot better and smarter, crisper than Crocker's.

He needs to forget run atm. Get back to what he was doing end of last year.

Just needs to be more confident and direct getting out from dummy half and give good early ball to his halves.

This is what he started to do mid way through last year. Just simplified everything and let the halves control the game. His confidence built and his timing begun to click with his halves. He then added some running to his game and looked a lot better.

Right now, especially because our forwards are not aiming up, the combination with the rest of the spine isn't there. Slow passing, indecisive, running at the wrong time.

Hopefully can turn it around on the back of a better forward display and build the the confidence and improve the cohesion with DCE

yeah I always run 10 paces and then raise my elbow up...it's just my running style. If someone happens to get in the way of it...
