Well both games provided convincing winners, has there been enough there for Des to hatch a plot to beat the Storm in September?

1/ Game 1 - shutting down Smith
2/ Game 1 - Inglis' defence
3/ Game 1 - Pattern of defence against Slater, Inglis, Folau
4/ Game 2 - Taking Hoffman out of the game
5/ Game 2 - Showing Steve Turner's weakness
6/ Game 2 - Talking up the referee's interpretation of Bellamy's wrestling tactics

Maybe Game 3 will provide more I hope but with a bit of luck Des has seen enough already.

Remember we didn't have Perry or Matai when we played the storm earlier this year.
I think they are vital for us to beat the storm. They bring aggression and penetration.

I think that we will have issues around Origin time next year though. Aren't the byes based around how many Origin players you have representing the year before. If that's the case and they have the bye's before the Origin next time around and we have a good representation we could be dropping a few games.

Melbourne asked to have the byes where they are, they also requested they play in the same city as Origin was that week so Bellamy was nearby. I don't think we will have many players out too if Bellamy is coach again.
