The others aren't likely enjoying it as much hahaha. They prefer the entertainment of a good ol' scuffle - but you and I can leave that to the others haha.
I will try my best but Don't take it personally when I go all WWE and turn heal and start an almighty argument in the near future.

FMD ... Jake out for 6 weeks .... It's Seibold's fault I tells ya !

My Optimism was just grabbed in a Squirrell grip....

I see this period as a significant opportunity for the players coming into the side. I hope Arthurs get a start this Sunday. Players like Keppie, Bullemor, and Condon need to take their opportunities and make it hard for the players coming back from injuries to get back in the side. I hope we see Gordon get his debut this weekend.

I would add Sipley to that list....perfect time to cement his spot in the 17.

Optimism underwent a mild recovery following our clinical disposal of the Clappers ... and the hint of future form from Turbo and the Shooey . Up 1.8% to 73.8%

a win without Turbo, DCE, Jake and others against a Newcastle team in Newcastle .... with Ponga and Gagai with points to prove .... will surely see Optimism skyrocket ..

Chances aren't good Woodsie but we can hope.

Well I thought we showed a lot ... actually feeling more optimistic ....

With Keppie (all hail Keppie), Paseka, Jurbo, Sipley, Bullymore, Croker we are developing a formidble middle ...

... and with Haumole and Fainu on the edges ... happy days are coming ..

Hey Woodsie do you reckon fainu has won a bench spot when we are back to full strength?

Yeah I agree. With DCE, Turbo and Jake back and Schu staying healthy we will be better.

If our middles can play like that regularly then we will win more than we lose.

And how good was that run up the middle from Sipley on the weekend!

For mine he looks like he can keep his starting spot ... he will only continue to improve .. He gets my nod over Tuilagi.

Comparative stats .. slightly in Fainu's favour ... but I think the upside in Fainu is greater ..

Tuilagi .. averages 7 runs for 60m per game ... with a tackle efficiency of 86.9%
Fainu .. averages 10 runs for 74m per game ... with a tackle efficiency of 88.9%

Worst case is it might put a rocket up Tuilagi's clacker ...

Definitely more upside he also looks very keen. Tuilagi’s laziness is too ingrained. Should we have a poll?

I was quietly optimistic at the start of the season. New coach, team culture looked good, we won the pre-season and beat Dogs and Parra back to back. However then a few odd things started to happen. Tuipuluto continued to be picked regardless of the fact he ran in off his wing with no thought of the consequence. Harper (and I acknowledge he tries) continued to be picked even though he is targeted by every other team in defence. Cooper Johns continues to be picked. These alone = definition of insanity. We let 2 juniors go with potential and sign Woods. Manly = laughing stock. Jury is out on Arthur.

Sipley - a metre eater and has been tremendous since getting some playing time. Why did it take so long. Thelma? FMD who signed this guy. AND we let Davey go. Someone who can actually run hard and tackle hard. For next year we have apparently signed Talau and Parra sign Connor Tracey.

Our front office including coaching and recruitment are well behind most other teams. The remainder of 2023 will be hard to watch. 2024 will not be much better unless we improve our squad.

We are out of the top 8 but let us not get our feathers in a knot feathered friends
Because our fearless coach keeps reminding us and inspiring us after every successive loss that success in not linear

I hope every one now feels optimistic and on top of the world even though our team is on the bottom of the competition table
