Whilst I think the Penns will continue to invest in this club, given there are some likely bright times ahead, if they weren’t to, I think these bright times and positives (two of the most marketable and talented players, who recently re-signed for 6 years) would mean there would be individuals/consortiums looking to buy in.

Of course the news limited hacks are going to death ride Manly. Nothing new. Every year it's the same. They can't stand the thought of our success so any opportunity to forecast our downfall.
Susan made excellent points. This could be the step back to reality that rugby league needed. Players don't need to be paid $1.2 mil for kicking a ball. Maybe it will go back to some needing to work two jobs instead of spending free time brawling in Bali or drinking pineapple cruisers on a roof.
Maybe even some club loyalty will come back into the game instead of just athletes chasing dollars?
Just maybe even the NRL's beloved teams like Parra, Storm, Chooks, Souths and Donkeys won't get scheduling and refereeing advantages anymore.
Hopefully, out the other side we'll see a better, fairer competition.

It is a difficult time for the game and it is a time where the game must come together and support each other.

What is being said especially by the news filth cronies is that they see this as an attrition thing and that some clubs will just fold. They never miss an opportunity to mention our club especially. Their agenda has not changed since 1995. We are meant to be dead!!!

They continue to underestimate the spirit and resilience of our club. This is all being done when the elephant in the room is the botching of the games finances and WHO is responsible for that?

In this world of pain, cool heads are needed. This halt to the comp might only be for a couple of months so we have to sit tight and see how it unfolds.

The scare campaign from News Filth is really unhelpful and just increases the anxiety being felt out there. Back off fellas!!
