Was played today, saw some amazing stuff

Central Districts v Auckland with the winner heading to the Champions League

Central got put in, and off to a quick start with newly selected NZ opener Ingram stirking 54 from 36 balls, before they fell into a bit of a hole to be placed at 104/3 from 14 overs, with Taylor having just been dropped on 7 by Bopara

Taylor then dispatched the next 15 balls he faced for 61 runs, Haven't seen many innings sustained for that long like that before, and he and 1 of the young fella's put on 100 from 5 overs !! Then the last over was 3 wickets for 2 runs haha, CD making 206/6 with Taylor out last ball for 80 off 30.

CD then came out, and had Auckland 9/4 after 4 overs and game over, 2 helmets were smashed in during that as well, and CD took the game out comfortably with Auckland scraping through to 140-odd

Taylor would probably have to be the premier T20 batsman in the world at the moment, averaged over 50 at a strike rate of around 200 in the NZ comp, hitting 28 sixes in 10 innings, in between times played a match for Victoria smashing 60 in that, scores heavily for Bangalore as well. Holds the record for most 6s in T20 cricket ahead of Hussey, something like 118 of them in 62 innings

from thr first time i saw taylor bat i thought he was full of talent and style, just needs to get his mental game there and would be right up there with the best in the world.
