I've got to give J Morris a big thumbs up for his efforts last night. Defensively he was great, and he shut down Inglis quickly and effectively. That took a lot of sting out of Queensland.

Definatly and Gifty was very good in not coming in too far to give GI any room to get around morris, thats where the biggest improvement came from game 1 defensively.

Now if Pearce can learn to use Gifty in attack the right side will click big time

I don't think Pearce is anywhere near the best halfback in the world but he handles Origin really well. There's no others that do it like he does. This is a good halves pairing and will get better.

Uate is still grating at me. I don't want to see him dropped but i'll be filthy if his defence lets us down in the 3rd game.

I'd be happy to see both Morris brothers side by side.
