We are guilty of impatience when it comes to blooding players, it takes a month of Sundays for changes to be made for underperforming players and we lose so many quality juniors due to lack of opportunity.To be fair....even the rebuild guru Gus has stated on more than one occasion that results mean nothing in the lower grades and it is all about player development
Now if we are smart enough then that makes sense....if
Penrith and the filth dogs are benefitting from a strong pathways program, they are not only strong in their minor grades, their first teams are very strong. I know Penrith have started slow this season and are off the pace, they are the sort of team that can go on a run and still be a major threat.
Our club tolerates a losing culture especially over the last decade. The only success is our Holden Cup team from 17, nothing major success wise after that win.
