I have to say, in light of today’s announcement re Baz and Gorman, and the acknowledgment by Penn confirming our interest in Pearce. The whole #nextweek thing feels stale and somewhat contrived. Particularly as the club has demonstrated it is doing its business in a professional and considered manner. Those belonging to the #nextweek click need to acknowledge this fact and stop throwing their toys out of the cot because they feel that management aren’t getting things done quickly enough to satisfy their now or never mindset . The overall process that has transpired in signing Baz and Gorman indicates the club knows exactly what it’s doing, and at the end of the day it’s Still November ffs. Furthermore, when it comes to elite level business, it’s best to bide your time and be certain that the moves you make are what your organisation requires. Put it this way, if it was my business, the last thing I’d be doing would be handing over the reigns to the NOW NOW NOW, get it done and dusted yesterday brigade. The best business people are never rushed, and care little about the noise created by people jumping up and down, who reside outside the inner sanctum. After all, we’re Manly, not the Titans.
You should have waited for #nextweek to write this article.

Hallelujah brother. #nextweek was stale about #fourweeksago. You get the impression sometimes that some people on here are never happy no matter what the club does. Constant moaning and bitching about never being told anything by the club, then bitching and moaning when the club does announce something that they supposedly already knew about it. Short of the club sending these people gold embossed hand delivered letters the instant any half-arsed rumor or speculation is raised on social media, they simply can't win. This week the club has announced a new CEO who looks the goods and have extended the contract of a coach who is steering the club in the right direction, as well as indicating the end is in sight for the so called salary cap scandal. You'd think people would be happy with that.
You are deliberately failing to mention that we do not have an international at every position, 1-17. Until that is remedied no one can be satisfied.

Probably appropriate and quite understandable to just cut both the Manly club management and the Manly supporter base a bit of slack over the past few months . Not having a C E O for some months , the delay in extending Baz 's contract and the uncertainty in some recent high profile signings have been hardly ideal but considering the individual circumstances of these matters , again an understandable and in some instances really unavoidable circumstances . The important consideration is that the main objective by the club management has been to obviously get the final outcomes and arrangements right and advantageous to Manly and again just unfortunate that occasionally in recent times that this has resulted in some understandable and even inevitable supporter dismay and frustration . Now that at least the C E O and coach situation has been resolved , in these instances every reason for some positive and confident Manly supporter outlook for the future and approaching season . The main or real target and displeasure for committed Manly fans should still be directed to some elements of the N R L and their obvious and unnecessary harmful targeting of Manly and their failure to expedite investigations and give Manly a fair go .
