According to reports ..(not aware of all the details) ... the Warriors have suffered serious season ending injuries to 3 or more players and requested that the NRL allow them some relief to replace them ... the NRL said no ...

I think given the debt we all owe the Warriors for the sacrifices they are making ... a little help wouldn't be out of the question ...

Here is what Gallen said today ...

Gallen, Slater and Thaiday .... Good Grief ... we get to hate the all over again ..

If there is such a thing as a 2nd favourite team, I call on the NZ Warriors.
Have a heap of NZ mates and also enjoy watching them play, can make a few more mistakes than the structure driven sides, but they are entertaining and there are always great characters in their sides.
Would love to see a few experienced, quality players join them in 2020....

We have a few very good FRF & SRF that will not make the 17 straight away. By not making the 17 they will sit out playing any football. It would be in our interest if we could offer as loan. Just a thought. I'm sure the idea will be ridiculed and not taken up but just my feelings.

Am i missing something - how is this different to anyone having season ending injuries and using lower grade players? is it due to the international travel issues?
Yep, most clubs will have 30 players, plus 4 more dev players after a certain date (wonder if that date will change, given the delayed season). The Warriors didn't fly over the full 30 so they are a handful of injuries away from not being able to cover key positions and with enough injuries they wouldn't be able to field a 17.

I don't think it's the other teams that are the issue, it's the nrl who say short term loans aren't allowed.
