I thought Blacker was pretty good in the early GF. Blacker and Leniu package deal? Buckleys??

But as @manly al noted, we have a couple of own to re-sign - starting with Weekes I would think.

There is some serious talent on that list that would turn us into premiership contenders. But I’m not holding my breath, track record in signing players has been non-existent. Even the tigers manage to sign guns and make sure they’re in the hunt for others…

I wouldn’t think Manly would even bother , can’t see any player of note coming any time soon.

We are no longer the “ destination of choice “.

We may well have to do a Penrith , build through the juniors , accept 3-4 years of absolute mediocrity and hopefully then it’ll click.

Very sad really.

Mate, past and current performance of our recruitment and retention dept. would certainly indicate that ... not only will you bringing this list to their attention be a scoop ... it will most likely form the basis of their total entire research ...

I think fans can over play this at times as we get a bit down about our own clubs fortunes.

Tigers signed Api and Papali'i
Dogs got Ado Carr and Burton this year and have Kikau and Mahoney next
Titans picked up Foran.

If we have the cap space we could attract players.......the cap space being the likely problem.

There is always options to solving problems

We have the option to replace players under the cap with players with more potential

Lead the way and find a way

Other wise get someone else more capable to do the job

We need props. Mean ones. Props that only idiots would run at.

While ever we have the current players wearing 8 and 10, we are going nowhere fast. Oshay should be first interchange.

Look at the 4 starting props from the GF. Now look at ours. Exactly.

Keppie and Paseka are developing into our starting guys.
Paseka only played about 11 games last year and that hurt us. Aloia goes well but still seems to have some whopping bandage on his knee, no doubt he's courageous to play on it but the modern game requires fit durable forwards. Several of our blokes simply miss too many games but hopefully they are due for a good run next year. I don't think they are lacking in ability.
