NRL ( Financial Woes)

The news today is that it is the "rich" clubs that have had huge cash injections every year from the licensed leagues clubs that are folding quickest .... with the closure of all clubs ... the Panthers and Bulldogs have already gone into panic mode with Parra I suspect close behind ...

Clubs like Manly thay can hope for a cheque from owners as usual (or new ownership possibilities) ... are actually in a better situation .... fun times when the leagues clubs cut off their bottomless pokie money ...
It's funny that the comp is made up of 3 divisions.

The single city juggernauts.

The 'rich' clubs backed by licenced clubs.

And the ones that feed hand to mouth.

Those you mention Woodsie will be waking up to a very new landscape when their league clubs run dry.

It's still the single city clubs led by Brisbane that do my **** in. All the money. All the sponsorship. All the promise and what to they show for it over the last decade... NADA.

And while I'm whinging one other thing.

Manly used to be classed 'the richest' club in the world before superleague. We had all the power and money then it was wiped away.

Part of me Hope's some of the entitled ones experience that this time.
