Current betting (subject to change):
NRL Auckland Nines 2014 (winner):
New Zealand Warriors $5.50
Penrith Panthers $8.00
Newcastle Knights $8.00
Gold Coast Titans $8.50
Cronulla Sharks $11.00
Brisbane Broncos $13.00
South Sydney Rabbitohs $13.00
St George/Illa Dragons $13.00
Parramatta Eels $13.00
Wests Tigers $17.00
Manly Sea Eagles $17.00
North Queensland Cowboys $21.00
Melbourne Storm $23.00
Sydney Roosters $31.00
Canterbury Bulldogs $31.00
Canberra Raiders $34.00
So if using the betting as a guidance to say which two top teams finish in each pool then the Quarter Finals would be:
For the Sunday - Local time take 2 hours off for Sydney time
1st Quarter-Final (1st Blue v 2nd Green) – 3.30pm Knights v’s Eels - say Knights win.
2nd Quarter-Final (1st Green v 2nd Blue) – 3.55pm Broncos v’s Titans - say Broncos win.
3rd Quarter-Final (1st Yellow v 2nd Red) – 4.20pm Warriors v’s Rabbitohs – say Warriors win.
4th Quarter-Final (1st Red v 2nd Yellow) – 4.45pm Panthers V’s Sea Eagles - say Sea Eagles win.
Saying Manly finishes 2nd in their pool.
1st Semi-Final (Winner QF 1 v Winner QF 2) – 5.45pm >> then the Semi Final would be Knights v’s Broncos.
2nd Semi-Final (Winner QF 3 v Winner QF 4)– 6.10pm >. Then the Semi Final would be Warriors v’s Sea Eagles (you can met again in the Semi’s same teams from your Pool).
Final – 7.30pm.
All up in the air, but a way to see how it could pan out (or we would like it to go this way!). Broncos or Knights v's Sea Eagles final would be OK!
