I loved it when he said that the sharks got off way too lightly, way too lightly and because he reckons they did way worse than what Melbourne did

I actually managed to see Fitzsimons play a union game in Adelaide back in 1992 when he played for a South Australian 'Select' team against the All Blacks. The guy is a clown (he managed to get himself sent off in that game, the first past or present Wallaby to ever be sent off against the AB's) and that extends to his journalism IMO.
Apparently all of Fitzsimons books have a ****load of researchers on them. So the hard part is done for him. Chimes with when we both used to write for the same Rugby magazine. Editor would tear his hair out trying to get his copy before deadline and then it appeared to be conjured in a rush.
