Yes , I’d come down from Moree so it was an airfare , taxis and overnight accommodation. I remember walking back to the hotel after the game feeling very very deflated.

I mentioned this game many times last night, apart from the scoreline it was almost identical.

And because we're so young I have a feeling that the long period away from home is doing more damage to us than some of the older teams. I really think Schuster's form in particular has dropped since the move north.

Also I think he is a focus for other teams much like most rookies after an initial burst of form. Plus the young guys in the team missed last year if they were no in first grade so you can understand fatigue in the team

Brent Kite was fairly experienced, he and BK led the pack but we were woefully inexperienced and it really showed on the day.

Little where we to know what was around the corner

I'm not prepared to write off anyone in the team, the guys who didn't have great games last night are the ones that we've constantly given points to each week in the MVP votes. Melbourne had a game plan, slow down the ruck, shut down our halves, this nullified Toms game. They'd obviously seen that Harper moves slowly laterally so they tagetted that, equally they realised that our back row doesn't move across quickly and DCE is often left to defend the big second rowers on the edge. Melbourne were smart, they used experience and strategy to beat us. We weren't smart and we played like an inexperienced team without a plan B strategy. Let's hope Des and out leadership group can spend the early part of the week working on that and the latter part of the week executing it.

Both times we've played the Titans, Harper has owned Fifita, I expect that to happen again if we get the Titans. If it's the Roosters his job will be to shut down Crighton.

We will be a better team for the leaason they taught us last night.
