Non-Manly Games [Round 7, 2017]

Man, I never saw the Dragons as any chance whatsoever this year. They are playing their own brand of football and doing it extremely well. First month I thought fluke, but the last 2 weeks has been exceptional. WTF did this come from?

As I said last week, they are the real deal.

As to where it came from ......???????

Dragons are playing like us in 2008
Playing for each other
Running hard in the forwards
Playing the game at speed
Compare that to us today, yes our second half comeback was ok but we are so far behind the pack it is not funny.
Wish we were playing like the dragons
We will get back to the top some day in the near future but this at the moment for us is painful to watch.

The Panthers have fallen from last season's heights.
Their young stars just flick the ball around expecting to score like they did in NYC 😎

Sack... Gould..?

Imagine this place if we performed like that in year 7 of Bozo's five year plan! Heads would explode from how "not Manly" it all is!

I was trying to understand the change in their Team to understand the huge fall in results.

They bought Tamou and didn't lose anyone since Segeyaro who left mid last year.

Maybe they spend too much time in their new Centre of Excelence and not enough studying strategy @

It's a mystery that luckily isn't our problem 🙂

Graham is probably the best backrower in the game right now. Not bad for a guy who played his first few seasons at halfback and was dumped by the Panthers.

This is why I don't but into players being too small for first grade. Graham was a halfback, Lewis a winger, Gift was too small, Chic never made the junior rep teams because he was too small.

The sharks defensive structure is something to dream of. The Panthers threw everything at them, and didn't trouble them at all.

How are the panthers still $11 to win the premiership, they've lost 5 of their 7 games. Their attack, although frantic, is **** and their defence is meh. Very inexperienced and they've signed some overrated players on long contracts likely to put them over the cap

I reckon the Panthers have made an error in sacrificing experience for youthful exuberance.
Cronulla showed heaps more composure.

Some of the defensive reads from wingers these days are appalling.....
And that was a prime example.
