Respected league journalist Steve Mascord is reporting an interchange official named Darren Alchin was taken to hospital in an ambulance after being struck by an object thrown from the crowd.

Alchin has reportedly suffered a broken collarbone.

Laws of the game stipulate you are NOT allowed to make contact with kickers legs, whether there is intent or not is not even an issue. You just cannot contact the kickers legs.
