As for the shoulder charge rule, when a giant is running at you, you can't brace yourself for the collision. You open your arms for the front on tackle which can result in a head clash leading to stitches and concussion. I thought eliminating concussion was a priority. So far 3 players have been suspended for shoulder charges that resulted in no injury to opposition and players who have broken others eye sockets and the like are free to play.

Geez Gutherson has looked good in the six for several games now. Just a natural footballer. Interestingly Brandy said on Fox that DCE was really disappointed when we let him go because he felt he was the heir apparent to our 5/8 jumper.

The Eels are looking like a very well coached and cohesive team the past fortnight. Brad Arthur seems to have a knack for getting new players to gel quickly. Starting to think Brad can coach, as painful as that is to write.

He's one of the grub that is the Dalai's chosen ones and at some point him, and the grubs are going to have to play without the rub of the green.
It ain't happened yet this year but I can't wait till it does.

It's interesting how they changed once Elgey came back. Ash Taylor had them firing but now he is second fiddle to Elgey.

Arthur can coach but is one of the most unethical fcukwits going around. What he did to our mate Tooves will never be forgiven. Tooves gave him a job when the eels chucked him and all he did was get into the ear of Watmow Foran etc then went back to the eels halfway through his contact with us and did he best to destabilise our whole club. How he got away with no punishment for the sal cap saga is also a joke. He was up to his eyeballs in it.

Really happy to see Robson get another year with Parra. He came from the Warriors back to them late last year and played his guts out for them when they had nothing to play for. Earned another year just on pure effort.
Hard not to admire.
