Parra are the dark horse of the competition atm unfortunately. We really need to beat Melbourne without slater or Smith. If we can't beat them it's not looking good for our chances to win games in the finals. I wasn't expecting us in the 8 this year so its a bonus.. ☺

Twice tonight I have agreed with Fittler. This is getting to be a worry.....

What Edwards did was technically a shoulder charge to the player on the ground. He led with his right shoulder and had his arm to his side. And to make matters worse he did it to a player who had just been felled by a high tackle.

Yet nothing is said to him about it??? No put on report, not even a damn warning.

Add this to the list of things why fans are getting disillusioned with the game.
The uproar last week, and justifiably so, of Soliola taking out Slater and the subsequent non send off that the refs boss comes out and said should have been a send off.
And we get this dog shot tonight that wasn't even put on report, FMD! Edwards knew he was dazed, lined him up and him with the point of his shoulder, he was kind of lucky the ball took some of the brunt.
There was absolutely no excuse for what he did, there was nothing tough about it, he should go for the rest of the year.
All this crap about player welfare and this goes unchecked, what if the Bronco's player was really in trouble with a head injury and then cops Edwards' shoulder?

This was way worse than Soliola's shot and yet again, nothing and then compare that to the farcical suspensions some players were getting for shoulder "braces" early in the year. A dead set joke.

I bet he gets nothing or if he does a week. But like holden v8 says he shouldered him in the head after an illegal tackle. and did you see him congratulating brown after they smashed the poor guy. fmd he needs to sit out the rest of the year. He's a ******** anyway.

I'd like to see the no punching rule amended to the no punching anyone who's not called Kenny Edwards rule.....in fact I'd like to see it go further, any player from either team who doesn't punch Edwards in the head during the game should face a minimum of 4 weeks on the sidelines...

For the first time ever I think I witnessed the donkeys get a bit dudded by the refs last night? I thought it was the NRL's plan for the donkeys to win this year. Maybe I'm wrong.
There's also been a lot of talk about how a team in the bottom half of the 8 has never won and how remarkable it will be.

Parramatta have been anything but. They have a god easy draw yet are struggling to put any actual good performances in bar last night. They just scraped home against the tigers last week, their other win was against Melbourne... minus all their stars! Then their other win was against the Bulldogs.. by one point!!!!

The eels last test was against the cowboys without thurston yet they got destroyed 32-6
