Totally agree with you....! It could not be any more obvious, how completely agenda driven this supposed 'competition' is.

The NRL definitely knows who will be playing finals football, right down to who will be playing in the GF and who will be winning the GF.

Parra"s game play is to rush up before the hooker has touched the ball and get 3 and 4 in every tackle and just hold down and have hands around the ball and the refs let them do what they wanted all night.

ie. they play like melbourne and qld's soo. My lasting memory of soo3 was cecchin giving the first offside penalty to nsw in about the 65 minute and saying "you've been offside for the last three tackles" WTF?

The majority of players on the field who ran into the fracas obviously knew something was out of kilter, but obviously the guy who knows it all, knows better. Here's to you Phil Gould !
