Likely finish 2016 is 12th, only 4 teams behind us.

Eels are better than us, no doubt.

Roosters (Pearce in for full season, add Keary) and Souths (add Farah) will be better next year.

2017 manly will have Tom Trbojevic full season fullback, walker back at centre full pre season DCE with a 5/8 in Blake green pre season together, Hopoate and Meehan in the wings. The team with a year under its belt. We are a top 8 side our selves and would have been their this year if we had no injuries.

The question being, what will be different that we don't have injuries next year?
And we still don't have any evidence that the coach can coach.
I still cannot get over the fact that we began a year with no 5/8 and failed to remedy that glaring problem for the entire year. Yes, Killer was good, BUT WE HAD NO 5/8!!!

We have 8 first graders in our squad. And not a single star player. Our squad is rubbish, imagine how good Matai, Stewart and Myles will be next year. Lewis Brown, Nathan Green, Blake Leary and Josh Starling wouldnt play first grade at any other club

We are getting worse, slipping, going down hill, in reverse. Get it.

If we can jag a 5/8 ( I'd say Blakes already on board but won't announce it until after they either win or are knocked out) , a forward ( such as Gillett / Solomona ) , and a centre I'd say we are positioned " ok" in 2017.

Bring a few young guys through, and in 2018 there's more cap ( yes for all teams) and a huge amount of talent coming on the market.

It always was a 5 year plan , and this is year 1, have patience, it will happen!

Brown will be back to bench utility where he belongs or reserves as will Myles. Stewart and Matai won't be here. Nathan Green will be a back up. Leary and starling will be at other clubs. No star players?

DCE-one of the best halves in the game, imagine him with a 5/8 next to him next year, he will earn his money

Tom Turbo-best young talent in the game, when he is fully fit he will be unstoppable

Jake Turbo-all passion! Leader of the team at just 22! Best defender in the game

Darcy Lussick-At his prime age and is in superb form will be playing origin next year one of the best props in the game ATM

Dylan walker-may not have done anything this year but with a full pre season at 4 and injury free his isn't only dangerous to doors but also other teams

We have stars and imagine if we add Gillett to our team we are a strong team next year, we will be better for the long year this year

Some good points. It's easy to say we will be top 8 next year. Every team is pretty strong these days. Top 8 are we in the top 8 teams who set up for a field goal. Is our goal kicking per cent age in the top 8 sides? Roosters, Souths, Parra are no certainty to finish below us next year. It's not unreasonable to say we could be fighting against the Knights to avoid the spoon next year. And we haven't heard what signings they have for the season to come.

We need to get a massive pre season into our A team
