You've worked it out.  His comments about Matai's tackle are just a smoke screen.  Des has another angle that shows that Matai actually tackled Ennis around the legs.  Manly will show the tape at the judiciary and Robert Finch will apologise to Manly for the penalty, as it should never have been given.

And don't tell anyone, but Snake and Wolfman have been training for the past few weeks and are going to make a shock return.

Oh, and we signed Beaver to a 50c contract and he'll be a last minute addition.  Des is just trying to work out how we fit him into the side given the strength of the back row.

In off field news I heard that Foran has actually put pen to paper, but I have dismissed that as an outrageous rumour.
