THE paradox of Brett Stewart's career is that his 99th try was also his first in more than 18 months. A try by Stewart at Brookvale Oval previously occurred about as often as a sunny day in these parts. But as the rain pelted down last night, the fullback's hat-trick - which included his 100th career try - ensured his slow and steady return quickened in pace. He is just the third Sea Eagle to hit the century mark; when it rains it pours.
