Controversy Corner was better than most of today's footie shows.

My earliest vivid memories of Manly were of watching Rex Mossop toward the end of his career. He was as tough as they come. It is possible his Alzheimer's may have directly followed the brutality of the game then, and the prizing of the courage of returning to the game after concussion.

Anyone dismissing the danger in players returning to the field with concussion, as happened last weekend, might read this:

    Be well Rex

I think you will find that Rex was just objecting to the cuppa not consisting of the finest Brazilian blends.

Julian looked like a walking chocolate box, obviously hoping that someone would like his soft centres. (boo hiss)

But I digress, get well soon Moose. The fans miss you at Brookie.
