Manly prop Darcy Lussick can't hide his pride when thinking about playing his 100th NRL game in the maroon and white jersey.

A local junior from the Beacon Hill Bears Club, Lussick will achieve the honour when he lines up for the Sea Eagles against South Sydney Rabbitohs at Allianz Stadium this Monday night in round 20 of the Telstra Premiership.

Didn't think I would be saying this at the beginning of the year but ... well done Darcy, congratulations.

46 games for Manly, 53 for the Slime. Another 8 games in maroon and white and he can balance the ledger.

He has taken his game to another level this last month. Good test for him on Monday against the Burgii, hope he has a big one...we need him to fire.

Like @Woodsie I never thought I'd be praising Darcy but I have to say congratulations and well done, particularly for the last month. I hope he gets to 200 games and is playing just as well!

Darcy is making a good case for being Manly's most important signing for the year.

Some players talk it up with these claims, but this bloke has proved it on the field...have seen him in recent games cop high shots & roughed up in the tackle - he doesn't lay down for the penalty - 2 rucks later he charges straight back into the meat of them to show his authority....it's a complement really- opposition packs are targeting him as the enforcer & he is firing up to meet the challenge

Last year we had the softest pack in the comp, Darcy has helped instil some work ethic and mongrel along with Jake this year. I know he'll rip in on his 100th and just hope he channels his aggression productively. Congrats Darcy.

Someone has gotten in his ear. He has been good in patches before..Run hard son. He knows he can do it now.. Jake won't be the only Manly forward in blue, if he just keeps believing

It's almost as if he's gone to another level after his mum passed away. Sometimes adversity can bring out the very best in us.

Loss makes us reflect on how we choose to spend our days. Darcy's Mum also had a prolonged illness, which is heartbreaking to witness. @

Glad that Darcy has matured into a man at last
