Addendum to this post
The Child Bride just looked over my shoulder and checked out my thread, she reminded me of a MUCH more important event that occurred because of the Mighty Sea Eagles.
So here goes.
On August 12th 1984 Rd 24 After beating Parra 19-16 at Brookie
I wandered from the hill to the Brookie Hotel to celebrate.
Still celebrating in DeeDee's at 1am when I met my Wonderful Wife.
We were married two weeks before the 1987 GF against Canberra.
