Just wanting to get peoples opinions. Wondering what people's preference would be looks / style wise? Maroon shorts per the superhero round a few years ago, or the white shorts with DCE below that?

Voted maroon mate. Think the white bloomers have a bit of nappy about them.

I haven't looked at the clip, but for some reason I remember that game and I think we lost. So that's a bad omen right there. White shorts for sure.

We smashed the Broncs 40 something to 6 odd in that one. Great TT and JT tries as well.

I think the maroon shorts for th home jersey can only work if the jersey is made up of heavy white stripes, rather than the skinnier ones which go better with the White shorts

We got smashed 4 tries to nil. Must have been from the era where Canterbury were wearing the fibreglass shoulder pads!

This looks pretty good to me ... although I like the maroon if we were to have maroon shorts we look too much like the donkies or even worse the Q word made famous by that boy from Tenterfield

Back in the day the Manly outfit was maroon jersey with white shorts and the alternate outfit of white jersey with maroon shorts was only ever worn if the regular outfit clashed with the home teams jerseys. This clash may not have been necessarily because of colour but often because of black and white telly, light shirts v dark shirts were easier to tell apart on screen and made for better viewing.

Agreed - I liked that our shorts were a nod to the Pacific Islander players, to go with the indigenous jersey. Can't recall any other teams doing that.

But apart from that, it's the maroon jersey/white shorts combo all the way - and vice versa for the alternate strip.
